Application for Membership
If you wish to join the REA please first read the REA HQ Privacy Notice that explains how we use your information and how we ensure it does not go beyond the specified purpose.
Life Membership
Anyone who served in the Corps of Royal Engineers, Regular or Reserve, is eligible to join the REA. Those that contributed to the Days Pay Scheme (DPS) can take up Life Membership free of charge.
Those that did not subscribe to the DPS will be required to pay a membership fee. The cost of Life Membership is £36 but there are age related concessions available. Contact the Membership Secretary for further information on membership fees.

You can update your details such as change of address by logging into your account.
Associate Membership
PLEASE READ BEFORE APPLYING FOR ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP:
Applications for Associate Membership can be completed using the online application process below. However, you MUST ensure that you have a prior connection with the REA Branch that you are applying for.
The REA Branch that you are applying for Associate Membership with MUST be aware of your application in advance or your application will be rejected by the REA.
Associate Memberships are further approved both at a Branch level and by the regional Group Director.
Branch officials may still apply for an Associate Membership online on behalf of a prospective member.
Please do not use this form to apply for Life Membership.
