Next Branch meeting to be held at British Legion Club, Whitchurch, Cardiff at 8pm on 14 June 2010.  (Drill Hall to be closed for the Medics Annual Camp).  No speaker this month.

Next Branch Committee meeting to be held at BBC (Cardiff) Club, Llandaff at 8pm on 28 June 2010.

ROTA.  In June the Committee Prize will be provided by Ray Corbin.

Forthcoming Events

Armed Forces Day.  Cardiff has been awarded the National Armed Forces Day for 2010.  On 21st June, flag raising ceremony Cardiff Castle with Veterans and Standards in attendance.  On 21st - 25th June, static displays in and around the Castle with additional displays around city centre. Locations to be decided.  On 23rd June, Armed Forces Day Golf Match - details on www.armedforcesdaywales.co.uk with costs not to exceed £20 and will include in addition to the golf, coffee, a hog roast buffet and prize presentations to winners.  On 25th June, Royal Navy warship arriving at Roath Basin.  Saturday and Sunday open to visitors.  On 26th June, parade from Castle to Cardiff Bay for a short Drumhead Service, possible medals / Veterans Badges presentation, refreshments available throughout the day, entertainments and events to take place all day.  There will be stands from various organisations and Service charities.
